Temporary suspension of Manx Classes

TEMPORARY CANCELLATION OF MANX LESSONS

As our current Greinneyder nears the end of his time working with Culture
Vannin and we move through the process for recruiting a new officer, we knew
that there would likely be a natural break in the Manx lessons we provide.
As we teach people who do and do not fall into the ‘at risk’ categories for
COVID-19 corona virus, we want to ask that everyone follow Government
guidelines and not attend classes if they develop the symptoms listed:
https://www.gov.im/coronavirus

We will temporarily suspend classes from Monday 23 March until further
notice but would encourage people to use our online resources.

It may be that informal conversational groups will meet for those people not
at risk and not self-isolating, and we hope that you all keep going with
your learning – now is a tremendous opportunity to crack on with online
lessons, books, even writing your own stories, poems and songs.

We will update you if the situation changes.

Gow shiu kiarail!
