Initial planning has started for a year-long celebration of the Manx language in 2026. The year coincides with the thirty fifth anniversary of Manx being introduced into schools around the Island, thirty years of the Cooish festival, and twenty five years of the Manx-medium primary school in St. John's, Bunscoill Ghaelgagh.
Jeebin, the Manx Language Network, is overseeing the celebrations, and wants to extend an invitation to the whole of our island community to get involved - whether you're new to Manx, or a seasoned speaker!
